Nimmun 2026

Who We Are

Nimmun 2026 is an independent, community-driven platform created to help voters across the Maldives make informed decisions in the 2026 Local Council Elections.

We are not affiliated with any political party. We are researchers, journalists, designers, and concerned citizens who believe that every voter deserves to know exactly who is asking for their vote — before they cast it.

What We Do

We bring you complete, verified profiles of every council candidate — in one place, easy to read, and free for everyone.

Before you vote, you'll be able to see:

• Who the candidate is — their background, education, and experience
• What they stand for — their platform, promises, and priorities
• Where they come from — their connection to the community they wish to serve
• Their track record — past roles, achievements, and community involvement

No more guessing. No more voting based on a name on a poster. Nimmun gives you the full picture.

Why This Matters

Local council elections shape daily life — roads, schools, social services, local development, and how public funds are spent in your community. Yet many voters go to the polls with little information about the people on the ballot.

That's the problem we're here to solve.

Nimmun puts the decision back where it belongs — in your hands, backed by real information.
